he FOA leader has been captured and imprisoned and now he is awaiting
trial, which is scheduled to begin soon. As many know, these ruthless
enemies have been at large for many months and this could signal the end to their
ruthless actions. The only question which remains is whether or not, justice will
be conducted properly.
. . . . . . This question arises because of the actions of Lord British's council which has decided that the trial will be held behind "closed" doors. Also included in this statment is the fact that only the Town Cryer will be present at the trial (a newspaper controlled and bias towards Lord British). One can hardly call this justice. In addition, it seems that the the Defense Counsel was chosen for the defendant. These factors add up to what could be a very one-sided trial. . . . . . . The facts remain though that there is a very large probability that the person in custody is in fact the leader of the FOA. Especially considering that there has been no more FOA activity since the capture. Until, the transcript of the trial is released we will simply have to wait and see. |
