ast week, the undead forces of the liche Juo'nar overrun the City of Honor, Trinsic. Even the most valiant warriors were no match for the undead
that flooded the city. The evil spurted out from every entrance. Juo'nar even discovered a way to transport his troops straight into the middle
of the city. The undead armies worked quickly and cruelly. Unfortunately, the army attack at an extrememly inopportune time for the defenders.
The multi-pronged attack, soon created a confusing situation. Minor pockets of battle sprung up around the city.
. . . . . . It soon became apparent that the defenders were no match for the attacking forces and the battle soon turned into a matter of survival for the defenders. With all the exits and entrances swarming with the undead, the only way of exiting the city soon became through magical means. Because many paladins are not known for their magical prowess, many people were trapped within the city, an almost certain death sentence. . . . . . . Luckily Nystul had been dilligently working during the takeover and at the last moments, found a way to open a one-way gate out of Trinsic. This gate allowed some of those people still in the city to escape. Nystul has left the gateway open so that anyone still hiding in the city can escape. In addition, Nystul placed a magical incantation on the gate that prevents any creature of the undead from travelling through the gate. . . . . . . Leading the attack on Trinsic was none other than Juo'nar. The Lich has been terrorizing the twon for some time now. Many are still unsure of Juo'nar's motives. Some say that they are revenge against the people of Trinsic, while others say that the motives are more sinister, perhaps to revive the lost FOA cult. . . . . . . Assiting Juo'nar in the attack was Malabelle. Malabelle has been controlling lizardmen, ratmen, and gazers while they attack Britain, but on this night she concentrated her forces on Trinsic. Although more a nuisance, Malabelle's troops were still responsible for quite a few deaths. . . . . . . The day after the battle was a gruesome one. During the night, Juo'nars undead had swept through the town, searching out anyone left in the town. They then tore those they found apart limb from limb. Also, the constructed huge baricades into the town. To top it all off, they placed the decaying corpses of their prisoners atop these gates as a warning to all those who would travel to Trinsic. . . . . . . The forces of evil seem to be overwhelming. Hopefully a counter attack will be organized, until then let's hope that the undead will be content with Trinsic and remain there. |
