Interview with Sonoma's Lurker
Today I had the great honor of meeting with one of Sonoma shard's most inflential
and well known men. Lurker has been a vital part of the Sonoma community for many
months now. Whenever there is danger or a mystery to solve, you can be sure Lurker
will be there. During our discussion today I was able to ask Lurker much about
recent events as well as plans for the future.
For those of you who have not kept up with events on Sonoma, I will explain certain points throughout
the interview.
So without further delay, the interview:
Lurker has created a library in the city of Oasis, at one point it was going to be a library
and museum I wanted to find out about this place.
Chronicles: "What is the purpose of your library and what do you hope
your library will become?"
Lurker: "Well, the library is supposed to be a place to
gather, and people to centralize. It is a perfect environment for
roleplaying. It has already grown into what I wanted."
Chronicles: "At one point you talked about including a museum in your library.
Is this still planned and if so what kind of items would be on display there?"
Lurker: "There will be a museum placed, but, it will placed in
another building in another player run city. The city itself isn't
opened yet, and as for items in the museum, well you will just have
to wait to see. Players will nto be disappointed."

I then went on to learn a little about the quests that led to Lurker's rise to fame.
One quest was that to discover the Largonians.
Chronicles: "Tell me about the Largonians? Was their tribe ever discovered?"
Lurker: "Ahhh, The Largonians. No, the tear was never discovered,
and nor where they. Andross was the only one whom knew the land well
enough to help, and he had gotten himself very busy, up until his
dissappearnce."
Chronicles: "Any plans to get the tear eventually?"
Lurker: "I am not sure. T'ni has gone on his adventures to the
Shrines, and I don't think I, or anyone else, will know until he
returns."

Next I talked to Leurker about another quest. The quest to find the GenDragon's.
It is a race of people and only two more exhisted in Britannia. Also, I ask him about Genipher who was
one of the GenDragon.
Chronicles: "How about the quest involving the GenDragons?
Also, tell me a little about Genipher, if it isn't too personal?"
Lurker: "Hrm....Well, as for Genipher, as you may know, we
are soul mates. Just about all that happened was posted on the
UoVault. We had known each other for a long while, and been dating...
I was planning on proposing, and then the whole thing, well it rather
exploded. The rest is rather much history."

Recent, events have gotten people excited across the land. One topic that is on everyones mind is
that of CrawWorth, Sage Winslow, and the Zog Cabal. I decided to find out his opinion on this topic
as well as his opinion of Harris' decision to join the staves of the elements.
Chronicles: "Do you have any views on the CrawWorth/SageWinslow/ZogCabal matter?"
Lurker: "I sure do have views on the Zog Cabal. I find them
annoying, adolecent, but very strateigic. Winslow I dislike, for a s
age who will discredit books, well, lets just say, I don't approve of
that. And, on to CrawWorth, I have known his collegues for a good
long while, and just recently met him. Genipher spoke highly of him,
so that is enough for me. I have, as I always do, been following him
closly, trying to keep him out of trouble... He unfortunatly got
himself caught with out me being there... I did however save him.
I think he is starting to notice me being there, but, I have been
hinting to the players of plans. I still do not trust Winslow, but
I have it on authority that he has been a decent fellow."
Chronicles: "What do you feel about Harris' decision to join the staves of the elements?"
Lurker: "Harris's decision is fine by me. I was there to save
the staves with him, every step of the way. I am very happy to see he
got them all, and that he is able to fulfil his life long dream of
reunification. As for the Etheral Vortex, well. We must see. I worry
for Harris, because I was the last one he spoke to before the Etheral
Vortex killed him... He said he had to make things right, and he went
up upon the vortex. I may never know what truly happened... But,
Harris *is* still in the world, just perhaps non-corprally. We must
all wait to see. I worry for his life, though."

My final question to Lurker is regarding an event that is coming up
in the near future.
Chronicles: "Now you are helping to put on an auction of rare
items, what spurred your imagination to have such an event and what
will the funds raised go towards?"
Lurker: "Well, Kira Vonur, Kralen Pendragon, Tanis Fireforge,
and Jyden Caendryl are all rather famous fellows, doing many things
for many people. They are also my favorite group of people, and when
we where discussing funds, and money, and esspeccily activites, we
decided to get all the high rollers of Sonoma together in a big way.
So, a rare item auction seemed like an easy way to do it. As for what
are the funds going to? daily spending cash."

Although I could have talked to Lurker all day, I thanked him and let him get
back to his more than busy schedule. This was a great experience and
The Chronicles of Ultima looks forward to doing many more interviews in
the future.
