Recent events in Sosaria, have brought forth the discovery of a new land. At the moment the land is being scouted by a brave team of adventurers. One of which is the famed Crawworth. A cartographer, artist, ranger, healer, and fighter make up the remainder of the party. They are travelling into the new land with the intent of setting up colonies. It is mere fortune that this new world was opened to us. This new world was opened to us in the wake of a dreadful event initiated by the Followers of Armageddon (formerly the Zog Cabal). They opened the fissures in the land while attempting to cast Mondain's spell Armaggedon (hence thier name). Luckily the spell failed, and fissures where opened in the ground leading to the new world. Almost immediately, Lord British put up signs stating that a quarantine had been placed on the new world and that no monsters or animals could pass either way. This is also the time he sent out the scouting party. Little information has returned from the new world, we have had only fleeting glances of the new world. Already, there have been stories of ferocious monsters. There have been humans discovered in this new world although little is known about the culture and heritage, but it appears to be very close to ours. One aspect of the new world is the desolateness of it. There are many new creatures in the new world, as well as two towns where adventurers may restock on supplies. In addition many entrances have been found to the new world, some of these include the Britain Sewers, and Pillars in the Sea. The new world will be filled with many amazing sites such as flowing lava, ice pillars, and a lighthouse. The vastness of the new world is amazing. There is much room for future colonization and this could be the answer to our, overcrowding problem. Also there is a new dungeon in the land for all your adventuring needs. Lord British is requiring a small fee be paid for access to these new lands, but they seem to be very interesting and worth a look, but don't come unprepared, for there is only one healer in the new world. |
