Followers Summon Evil
A picture of a house

Evil was unleashed upon Britannia last evening as the Followers of Armageddon summoned up vile black wisps from the darkness. The FOA turned these normally passive creatures into destructive weapons.
. . . . . . For many months now the FOA has been preparing some evil plot to cause the desturction of Sosaria. We now know what their plan was. Fortunately, the FOA have been so weakened over time, that this attempt held little steam and was easily quenched.
. . . . . . The adventure began as Lord Halston Montil set off running through the streets of Britian calling for warriors to gather in the courtyard of Lord British's castle. Word soon spread and a group of about 50 warriors had gathered. Mages opened portals to the first of the pentagrams, and the battle had begun.
. . . . . . Within the center of a black pentagram, which had appeared a few days earlier and was created from Blackrock, a black wisp sat sending off a strange illumination. Only a few made it through the first gate, and soon the warriors were attacked by an enormous wave of orcs, trolls, and ogres. For a moment it appeared as if the monsters would gain the upper hand, but soon more and more warriors appeared to strenghten the ranks. Wave after wave of enemies attacked. Between waves people would turn their attention to the black wisp. Soon, everyone began to attack the wisp (who seemed to be attracting the monsters somehow) forgetting their own health. Many people where critically injured and had to leave all of their belongings behind just to escape and get healed. Eventually, the wisp was slain. As the wisps bady disappeared into the void from which it came, a jet-black chest appeared in its place.
. . . . . . Many mages tried to unlock the chest, but to no avail. Then amazingly the chest opened! Alas, another black box awaited the adventurers inside. In the commotion it is not known what happened next, but sources say that the chest was never opened. However, the same would not be the case for the next chest.
. . . . . . With the task finished at that pentagram, the adventurers opened a gate to the second pentagram. This battle was not nearly as difficult as the first. Upon arrival, standing at the pentagram was none other than Junin Pince! He was attacked relentlessly by the adventurers until he fell to the ground silenced forever. His death had two major effects. First of all, it brought out the worst in the brave adventurers as they proceeded to loot the body and gloat over their captured prizes. More importantly, upon Junin's death the second wisp vanished! A box again appeared in the wisps place. This one was opened with ease and inside was a piece of crystalline blackrock. Rumor has it that this had the magic ability to telport someone from place to place, indefinately! The rock was turned over to Lord Halston Montil and the group made their way back to Lord British's palace.
. . . . . . Halston thanked all the brave warriors who had help that eve and retired for the night. Many unruly people were shouting and causing commotion so Halston was unable to hold a conversation with anyone there. Although we do not know who was the mastermind behind the operation, we are sure to find out within the next few days.
